“The Last Hope” is an environmental awareness campaign to start a concrete step to solve waste problem. “The Last Hope” will be carried out by a 466 km marathon around Bali in 13 days focused on plastic waste in Bali, involving 1000 participants, 10,000 kgs of plastic waste, 30,000 kgs of organic waste, more than 1 million steps, 1 million people well impacted. The event will be started from 27th September – 9th October 2021 with Puri Ageng Blahbatuh as a starting and endpoint.
We will start by collecting trash from the first step ( 0 to 466 Kilometers ) of the marathon around Bali with expected to collect 10 tons of plastic waste and 30 tons of organic waste. The recovery marathon journey for the environment will spread the message of basic information about the impact of plastic waste, how to sort waste from home and the facts about plastic recycling.
With this activity and good data collection after the event is held, it is hoped that all stakeholders can unite to start the recovery series. No longer running alone but together, simultaneously through a recovery journey for our environment.
